About Green Valley Recycling

Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Eldon.

I’m a born and raised Alaskan who enjoys a fair amount of outdoor adventures (like hiking, kayaking, and camping} but also loves to hunker down for a nice gaming session or TV show. Me and my wife, Kate, enjoy our duties as dog parents to our cardigan corgi, Dax. You can often find us walking Dax on local trails, grabbing a burger at a nearby grill, or catching an outdoor concert.

After years of managing a coffee shop and thoughts of opening my own place someday, owning and operating a recycling business came as a bit of a surprise. We were receiving a recycling service for a few months when, much to my wife’s dismay, the owners of that service announced that they were closing down. After some encouragement from the wife and a couple of chats over coffee with the previous owners, I decided to take the leap, jump in, and take a turn in the recycling game.

So if you happen to be in conversation with Green Valley Recycling via email, you’re talking to me. If you see the bus picking up recycling or dropping it off at the recycling center, that’s me too!
